Duncan Hay – Institute of Natural Resources
Abstract
Duncan is the Executive Director of the Institute of Natural Resources and an Associate Research Fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He has an MSc degree from the University of Natal and a post-graduate diploma in environmental security from the University of Cambridge. Duncan has over thirty year’s experience in natural resource management and rural development programmes and projects, and in developing the capacity of young professionals in these fields. He has led multi-disciplinary teams to several awards including a national Green Trust Award for Eastern Cape Estuaries Management Programme.
